The Bill of Rights and Me

I will consistently view every infringement of my second amendment rights as a dangerous affront to my liberty. Of course, I view every infringement of my first, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth amendment rights the same way. You’ll agree with me, pardon me, or detest me, but I will not be moved.

  1. The US Constitution is a pretty sound document. The US is lucky to have such a foundation. Seeing its abuse, from outside the US, is bewildering. Here in Canada, we have a “Charter of Rights and FREEDOMS”, basically a recipe-book of goverment-granted privileges that protect nobody, and force compliance on everybody. Not much of a document, and the abuse is built-in.
